Pre-construction Lifecycle

WWD Engineering addresses the entire pre-construction lifecycle for commercial wastewater treatment and disposal facilities.  This gives our clients peace-of-mind; a turnkey approach that frees them up to address other issues.  Over the years, we’ve developed a well defined and streamlined process that addresses all elements of the pre-construction lifecycle from research to system conceptualization to system design – all while keeping the client well informed.

Research

During the research stage, WWD Engineering uncovers and analyzes all applicable information; this is key to ensuring a successful design. This includes site and soil evaluations and site feasibility studies – assessing the land’s ability to sustain an onsite unit.  Our design team works closely with all agencies to ensure that all regulations from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the Texas Health and Safety Code are addressed.

System Concept

During the system concept stage, WWD Engineering takes all of the information collected in the research stage and defines a system that’s completely customized to meet the client’s unique needs.

System Design

After completing the research to determine the property’s unique characteristics and conceptualizing the best solution that addresses the needs and meets all state and local regulations, we design the system.  Each facility produces a different type of wastewater; it has to be treated different.  We optimize the treatment process to the waste stream.  Our design philosophy focuses on reducing the life cycle cost of the system. We do this by careful equipment selection, and designing for efficiency, ease of operation and maintenance.
